La Plataforma Tecnológica Española de la Pesca y la Acuicultura desarrolló su ya IV Asamblea General el pasado día 28 de junio, en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenios Navales de Madrid, en la que nos informó ampliamente de la cantidad de herramientas de I+D+i que pone al servicio del sector pesquero y acuícola, con la finalidad de potenciar la competitividad y el progreso tecnológico en todas las entidades que deseen apostar por la innovación.

La jornada fue bienvenida por la Subdirectora General de Colaboración Público Privada del Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad, Dña. Maria Luisa Castaño, y acompañada y clausurada por Dña. Aurora de Blas, Subdirectora General de Economía Pesquera, quien transmitió unas palabras de D. Andrés Hermida, Director General de Ordenación Pesquera de la Secretaría General de Pesca.
A través del Presidente de la PTEPA, Juan Manuel Vieites de ANFACO-CECOPESCA, la PTEPA presentó todos los desarrollos realizados en su pasada anualidad, así como los que están siendo desarrollados este año 2012. Entre ellos se encuentran herramientas para facilitar la realización de I+D+i pesquera y acuícola a un sector que, como otro cualquiera, necesita un foro multidisciplinar donde encontrar o difundir los desarrollos tecnológicos más innovadores. Un buen ejemplo de todos los trabajos realizados puede observarse en su página web www.ptepa.org. Entre estos trabajos, cabe destacar:
- Una red informativa de I+D+i online en la que se pueden encontrar ofertas y demandas tecnológicas, asesoramiento personalizado para proyectos de I+D+i, ideas de proyectos de I+D+i latentes, búsqueda de socios, guías de I+D+i… un sinfín de herramientas para los miembros y socios PTEPA.
- La base de datos de proyectos de I+D+i de la PTEPA actualizada, con más de 2.000 proyectos del sector y con sistema de búsqueda online.
- Documento “guía de apoyo para los retos tecnológicos PTEPA” establecidos en su Agenda Estratégica de Investigación (AEI).
- Documento de coordinación entre la AEI de la PTEPA con las AEIs y prioridades europeas.
La Asamblea también constituyó un espacio de trabajo en el que se trataron 4 temas de interés actual en I+D+i pesquera y acuícola, en diferentes mesas temáticas que unieron a la industria, a centros tecnológicos y a otras plataformas tecnológicas afines:
- “TICS en la Transformación de Productos de la Pesca y la Acuicultura” (SAEC DATA, CONXEMAR, CARTIF E INES),
- “Eficiencia Energética en el Sector Pesquero” (REPSOL, CETPEC, PTME),
- “Soluciones Desarrolladas para Asegurar la Sostenibilidad” (ARVI, IEO, PROTECMA y ANFACO-CECOPESCA) e
- “Innovación comercial en Productos Pesqueros y Acuícolas” (ANGULAS AGUINAGA, FEDEPESCA, CARTIF, FOOD FOR LIFE).
Después de un aperitivo de productos pesqueros innovadores ofrecidos por Angulas Aguinaga, los asistentes pudieron visitar el Canal de Ensayos Hidrodinámicos y diferentes laboratorios de ETSI Navales.
Una vez más la Plataforma Tecnológica Española de la Pesca y la Acuicultura nos demuestra que bajo su apoyo, realizar I+D+i en el sector no sólo es necesario para cualquier tipo de entidad, sino también mucho más sencillo de lo que a priori podría parecernos.
