El catalizador empleado utiliza un sistema de nonoparticulas de Di\u00f3xido de Titanio adheridas, que son irradiadas con energ\u00eda ultravioleta de una determinada longitud de onda, produciendo trillones de contactos moleculares en su superficie. Los cambios f\u00edsicos que se producen en el catalizador, provocan la generaci\u00f3n de radicales libres de hidr\u00f3xilo y s\u00faper oxido en dicha superficie.
