Y no menos importante el proyecto emprendedor de instaurar el mayor criadero de ranas (Rana perezi) de Europa en un pueblo de Zamora. Esta actividad est\u00e1 vinculada al sector de la alimentaci\u00f3n animal con una producci\u00f3n de 150.000 t de pienso, entre las tres empresas localizadas en la Comunidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Desde el a\u00f1o 2011, las actividades del Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n en Acuicultura (CIA) perteneciente a la Consejer\u00eda de Agricultura, Ganader\u00eda y Desarrollo Rural, est\u00e1n dirigidas al desarrollo integral de la acuicultura a trav\u00e9s de una mejora en la eficiencia productiva de los peces, principalmente centrando la investigaci\u00f3n en la b\u00fasqueda de fuentes alternativas de prote\u00edna para su alimentaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Todo ello para avanzar hacia una producci\u00f3n acu\u00edcola sostenible y circular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hasta el momento, se han explorado y validado diferentes materias primas de producci\u00f3n en Castilla y Le\u00f3n como la remolacha, cebada, leguminosas aut\u00f3ctonas (e.g. alverj\u00f3n, titarro), y tambi\u00e9n una fuente de prote\u00edna muy prometedora como es la harina de determinadas especies de insectos (en particular mosca soldado (Hermetia illucens) y el gusano de la harina (Tenebrio molitor).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Castilla y Le\u00f3n es l\u00edder en la cr\u00eda de trucha arco iris (Onchorynchus mykiss) con sus 27 piscifactor\u00edas repartidas por el territorio y desde el a\u00f1o 2015 tambi\u00e9n pionera en la producci\u00f3n de langostinos (Penaeus vannamei) gracias a la inversi\u00f3n en tecnolog\u00edas innovadoras de uso y aprovechamiento del agua.
