¿QUÉ ES LA PTEPA?
The Spanish Technological Platform for Fishing and Aquaculture is a non-profit association whose main objective is to promote technological development and innovation in the fishing and aquaculture sector, including the processing and marketing of its products.
¿OBJETIVOS?
The main objective of the PTEPA is to bring together all stakeholders within the fisheries and aquaculture sector, combining and coordinating actions and information related to the technologies to which they dedicate their efforts.
This proposes a common national research, development, and innovation strategy that will position national companies in the aquaculture and fisheries sector in a competitive position.
GRUPOS DE TRABAJO
PTEPA, within the framework of its working groups, periodically reviews the current situation of the fishing and aquaculture sector, including the processing and marketing of its products. This defines the challenges and opportunities facing our sector, which are the basis for defining priority R+D+I lines throughout the entire value chain of the fishing and aquaculture sector.
With the defined R+D+I strategic lines, and in alignment with national and EU policies, we developed the STRATEGIC R+D+I AGENDA, which prioritizes the technological challenges with the greatest need for R+D+I in the sector.
